Studio 17 Costume and Fashion Makers are a Cheshire-based fashion and costume studio, headed up by New Zealand born Karen Ferry. In her career as a pattern cutter and high-end fashion and costume maker, Karen’s work has graced catwalks, stages and screens worldwide – from design, through the 3D development stages, to finished sample pieces. Her work with designer Nabil Nayal has taken her to Paris and London Fashion weeks, seen her make couture bridal wear, and her costume work can be seen most recently in hit Netflix series ‘The Stanger’, Jamestown on Sky, and many more. Other recent projects include sourcing and making full-cast costumes for recent productions at Clonter Opera, Cheshire.
